Optimised for urban and local transport

TracFeed® ALU1000 has proven itself over decades of use in public transport in Baltimore, São Paulo, Stuttgart, Dortmund, Karlsruhe and many other cities. The contact line system is optimised for trams, urban and suburban railways with rated voltages of between 600 V and 1500 V. The simply structured contact line with catenary suspension does not obscure the view of the sky and blends seamlessly into the cityscape. Safety for operators and passengers is always part of the equation: TracFeed® ALU1000 complies with European standards, allows speeds of up to 120 km/h and is low-maintenance and reliable thanks to standardised aluminium components. Despite its high degree of standardisation, the contact line system still allows for special solutions that we produce in-house.
