- Consent management tool
Some data processing (e.g. IP address) is technically necessary to display the requested content, while other data is processed to improve usability or customise our offers and is only processed if you actively consent to this.

- i) Use of Google Analytics 4 (GA4)
We use Google Analytics 4 on our website, a web analysis tool from Google Ireland Limited (Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland). Google Analytics 4 is used to analyse user behaviour on our website and uses an event-based structure to collect data.

vii) Storage and transmission
The data is stored on Google servers, including in third countries such as the USA. Google complies with the new EU-US Data Privacy Framework, which regulates the transfer of data in accordance with EU data protection laws. viii) Data retention period
The retention period of the data in Google Analytics 4 is either 2 or 14 months. After this period has expired, the data will be deleted automatically. You can object to the processing of your data at any time and withdraw your consent.

The processing of your data with Google Analytics 4 is based on your consent in accordance with Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR, which we obtain via our cookie banner. You can revoke your consent at any time via our cookie settings.

- Google Tag Manager
- i) What is Google Tag Manager?
We use Google Tag Manager on our website, a product of Google Ireland Limited (Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland). Google Tag Manager facilitates the management and implementation of website tags used for analysis and marketing services, without you having to intervene in the source code of the website. However, Google Tag Manager itself does not collect any personal data, but merely triggers other tags, which in turn may collect data under certain circumstances.
- ii) How Google Tag Manager works
Google Tag Manager does not process any personal user data. It merely ensures that other tags, which may collect data, are correctly integrated and managed on the website. These tags are managed via a user-friendly interface, which simplifies customisation and updating. Please note that when triggering tags that include other services, such as Google Analytics or marketing tools, these services may collect data, which is explained separately in this privacy policy.
iii) Use of tags and data transmission
The tags integrated by us can be used to analyse user behaviour and for marketing purposes, for example through the use of Google Analytics or other marketing and tracking services. The data collected by the respective tags depends on the respective service (e.g. IP address, page views, user interactions). The data protection regulations of the respective services apply.
- iv) Transfer to third countries
Tags that are triggered by Google Tag Manager can also transfer data to servers in third countries, such as the USA. Google complies with the new EU-US Data Privacy Framework, which ensures that there is an adequate level of data protection when data is transferred to third countries. For services such as Google Analytics, we have agreed standard data protection clauses with Google to ensure the security of your data.
- v) Storage period and control of data
As Google Tag Manager itself does not store or collect any personal data, there is no direct storage period for data relating to this tool. The data collected by the individual tags is processed in accordance with the storage period of the respective service.
